Apple Watch already tracks everything. Why add another layer?

For many runners, Apple Watch is already the simplest and most polished place to record training.

What it gets right

People tend to love how little setup it requires and how naturally it fits into daily life. The trade-off is that a great tracking experience is not always the same thing as having a long-term coaching system that keeps asking where the training is taking you.

Where runners still feel the gap

RunAI is not trying to replace the watch. It is trying to make the plan around the watch more adaptive, more goal-focused and less dependent on the runner stitching everything together.

The RunAI view

We do not think runners need another app just because another app can be built. The bar should be higher: the system should reduce the amount of managing, interpreting and prompting the runner has to do.

Our aim is simple: your training comes in, the plan responds, the goal stays in view, and the system keeps learning from what actually happened.

If your current setup already does that well, keep it. If it does not, that is the problem RunAI is trying to solve.

Want to test the other approach?

RunAI is in early beta. We're looking for runners who already care about their training and want to challenge how the system adapts.
